I got a behind-the-scenes taste of Salt & Lime, a brand-new restaurant opening this week at the North Shore Hotel in Myrtle Beach—and y’all, this locally-owned spot is stunning. You are going to LOVE IT.
The vibe: Bright, light, and right on the ocean. Think fresh flavors, breezy cocktails, and views for days.
🌮 Latin-inspired menu that’s fresh, flavorful, and perfect for sharing.
What we ate (and loved):
The burrata salad. Beautiful and unexpected—fresh greens, berries, pistachios, and a cilantro pesto dressing that we’ll be dreaming about.
The ceviche. Spicy, tangy, and made with fresh-caught fish from Little River. It’s the kind of appetizer you fight your friends over. Order your own.
The fish tacos. Bursting with flavor and topped with a creamy sauce that ties it all together. Will pair perfectly with a rosé. Or a spicy margarita.
The whole grouper. Yes, whole. A little intimidating to look at, but absolutely delicious. Served with rice and pickled toppings that bring serious flavor.
The extras: A dreamy outdoor seating area, a beautiful bar (hello, margaritas), and brunch and breakfast coming soon.
