We joined PopStroke (and here’s why it’s our new happy hour spot)

We didn’t expect a mini golf course to become our new happy hour spot — but here we are… paying members who have visited repeatedly.
🎟️ Why we joined
Our kids love mini golf and this one’s actually fun for adults too.
On our first visit, we signed up for the locals' membership: $25/month for unlimited mini golf plus 25% off food and drinks. (You need to commit to 3 months.) And yes, that tactic worked because we’ve been back a few times already!
Everything runs through your phone number, so you can order drinks mid-round and go to one of the bar areas and order dinner on the same tab. It’s seamless.
🍷 Why we love it
The food? Surprisingly good.
The drinks? Even better.
Whispering Angel rosé is on the menu (hi, summer), and local beers from Grand Strand Brewing round out a solid list. We judge a restaurant by the wine list (this should not surprise you, since this is a food & wine newsletter!), this one passed the test.
