Grand Strand Wine List for June 13, 2024
Happy weekend, y’all! Here’s your guide for the weekend with things to do + things to plan. This week, we’re sharing local wine tasting rooms + shops, Wilmington music getaway recs, a Thai place you’ll love, and upcoming local events.
Cheers, y’all
Where to taste + buy wine in the Myrtle Beach area
The best way to learn about wine is to taste wine. You’ll discover the regions, varietals, and pairings you like best, which will help you select your favorite bottles when going out to eat or when you’re staring at a wall of wine in the grocery store.
If you’re looking for an incredible wine experience, go to one of SeaBlue’s wine lunches!
Here are local places to find a wine tasting in + around Myrtle Beach:
Downtown Myrtle Beach - The Tasting Room on 9th is the best spot for wine + wine snacks 🥂
North Myrtle Beach - Wine Therapy features wine tastings and charcuterie, plus a selection of wines to shop
Coastal Wine Boutique has several locations including a Barefoot Landing, Pawleys Island, and The Market Common
Murrells Inlet - Cap ‘n Cork is a Craft Beer Wine Bar Coffee Bottle Shop, has a tasting room and often features live music
North Myrtle Beach - The Wine Shoppe features a large selection of wines with helpful staff to help you choose, with wine tastings each week
Try: Thai Bistro
We found your new favorite Thai dinner spot!

Thai Bistro is one of those hole-in-the-wall spots you may ignore in a shopping center. Don’t ignore this one. The exterior doesn’t match the interior. The decor is sophisticated, the service friendly and fast, and the food is fantastic. If you love Thai, you’ll love Thai Bistro.
Order the Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery Riesling with the Panang curry, you will love the the spicy / sweet pairing
📍Thai Bistro • 1225 38th Ave N, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577
