Champagne and other details
Champagne is poured on the luxury boat on Hulu’s Death and Other Details in fancy crystal coupes.
(Note: there are some risqué, OMG moments so if you have a delicate disposition when it comes to R-rated content, pass this recommendation.)
Champagne is one of those wines that most people reserve for special occasions … but if you’re a wine drinker, you don’t.
Sparkling wines pair with everything.
For wine people, sparkling wine is the wine you pair with spicy Thai on a Tuesday or Friday afternoon at 5pm with Wood Brothers bluegrass.
And for watching Death and Other Details? Imogene would open up a Mumm Napa Brut from Total Wine which has the gravitas of a fancy sparkling but the price tag of a Target frozen pizza.
In summary: Champagne is for all occasions, especially weeknight TV.
Cheers, ya’ll 🥂
