It seems a little early (and chilly) for Easter weekend to be upon us, but here we are. Parents are playing Easter Bunny, scouring the Target shelves for any remains of Easter Basket supplies. Tourists are pouring in for a fun family vacation. Here are our top picks and events for the weekend!

Where: La Manna Bread
What: La Manna Bread is Downtown Myrtle Beach's newest breakfast & lunch spot, located right on 9th avenue. You can pick up fresh-baked bread (and / or sweets!) to go. Or, stay and have breakfast or lunch inside the bright cafe or outside on the sidewalk. (more photos)

Roadtrip event: Wine Tasting at Riverbanks Zoo
What: Sniff, swirl, sip and support conservation at Wine Tasting at Riverbanks Botanical Garden. Sample over 100 varieties of wine while savoring light bites and listening to live jazz in one of America's best public gardens. For those who prefer hops to grapes, an assortment of select local craft brews also will be available for tasting. Proceeds support the care and conservation of the animals and plants at Riverbanks and beyond.

Art Exhibit: Buzzing for a Change
What: a mural by artist Matt Willey. He is hand-painting 50,000 honeybees, the number in a healthy hive, in murals and installations around the world. Brookgreen Gardens is proud to participate in this global art project to raise conservation awareness.
Where: at the Brookgreen Gardens Lowcountry Zoo’s “Conservation Station”, beside Red Wolf Ridge and observational beehive
