Hello, Grand Strand friends!
Your newsletter author is traveling the UK and am discombobulated with days, times, etc… Apologies for the delay of the newsletter and the brevity of the list this week!
Instead of scouring the internet for things to do (which is surprisingly difficult to do!!) I’m going to link out to blog content + share a few vacation photos. Thank you for being a subscriber!
PS - Feel free to drop me an email if there's an event, new business, or anything happening that you think the locals should know about!

Travel Photos
If you want to go beyond your phone… here are some camera suggestions (I am not a professional photographer, just someone who is obsessed loves photography and making videos:
Snapshots taken with my Fuji in London, Oxford, Bath, and Blenheim Palace
Favorite travel camera: Fuji XS20 with the 27mm pancake lens for travel (full manual controls for those who know photography but easy auto mode for those who just want to snap) you can find it at Best Buy
Favorite point & shoot travel camera: the Sony zv1 (super simple to use) - read the full review: photo gallery and review of the Sony zv1 - fantastic pocketable camera for travel
Favorite easy video camera: the GoPro makes super smooth videos easy while you’re on the go - not great in low light, but for outside, you just can’t beat the simplicity! (Check out my GoPro post with video examples!)
Favorite iPhone accessory: the Insta360Flow is a little gimbal tripod combo with an app that makes taking cool videos like this timeshift video of Bath:

These shoes were made for traveling
I featured this last week but sharing again - these shoes are the best for traveling!
Why: Step Up Your Game. Shoe shopping is always a good idea, and this long-time North Myrtle Beach comfort shoe store has a new local owner! Plus, the helpful staff can help pick out the perfect shoe for you - and tell you if the shoe fits or to try another size.
Try on: On Clouds because they are the cool new sneaker (and they are comfortable) - Shoe Center has a HUGE selection! For running and working out? Try on Brooks because you’ll feel like you’re walking on marshmallows. Looking for cute shoes? You’ll find plenty of women’s sandals, men’s shoes, and even cute Pickleball shoes.
Go: 📍Shoe Center, 710 Highway 17 South, Suite I, North Myrtle Beach, SC
