Get on the Wine Lunch List
What: Wine Lunches at SeaBlue Restaurant & Wine Bar
Why: Foodie friends, a wine lunch might be better than a wine dinner.
The menu: Chef Ken evolves the culinary experience as epically as a Kendrick/Drake rap battle…every move is calculated and executed to the highest level. The kitchen team uses the classic push/pull of textures, flavors, fats, acids and mouthfeel to make for an experience that will leave you completely satiated. Each of the four courses is thoughtfully paired with a wine.
Be prepared: The only thing that will snap you out of your blissful wine/food cocoon will be the reality that you need to block off the date for the next wine lunch – already looking for your next culinary fix. – It. Is. That. Good.
Where: SeaBlue Restaurant & Wine Bar, 501 Hwy. 17 North, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582
When: Monthly from 12pm - 2ish. Dates planned for 2024 include -

Head to Shine for Seafood Snacks + Cocktails
What: 1229 Shine has the vibe of a brewery with a menu crafted for a seafood-loving foodie.
Why: Because you’re looking for a place to chill with cool cocktails and snack on seafood appetizers. You can bring your kids and let them run around outside while you sip + snack on the porch.
Cocktails to try: If you like a slightly sweet drink, the Blackberry Mule on the happy hour menu is a delightful gingery concoction mixed with berries. Craft beers pair well with the food. The jalapeño margarita is refreshing, not too sweet, and also not too spicy.
Make a dinner out of apps: oysters, coconut shrimp, mini tuna tacos, tuna crudo, grouper bites. Everything is outstanding. The Happy Hour menu features $1 house oysters + many of their most popular appetizers nearly half-price making this a spot worth heading to early. Also noteworthy: the kids’ chicken finger meal which was so fantastic, you may want to order it.
Go: Shine is located on the outskirts of The Market Common shopping center is a fantastic spot to meet friends for happy hour. 📍1229 Shine Avenue, Myrtle Beach, SC, 29577
